Leadership Team Spotlight: Eric Christoffersen

Hi, I’m Eric Christoffersen. I am an estate planning attorney with Grams & Christoffersen law firm in Madison and am the managing partner of the firm. I live in Waunakee with my wife Eve and daughters Lily (10) and Emma (7). am also a charter member of the MCGF Leadership Team. It has been wonderful to see all the growth and positive change that has happened since MCGF’s inception!

While life has been crazy these past couple of years, and my personal volunteer involvement with MCGF has waned, I remain committed to the organization’s outstanding Gospel purpose, which I knew was special from day one. As the pandemic has caused us to do, it is important to re-center and evaluates our priorities, and Christian giving is one of those priorities that rises to the top!

To me, MCGF is special for three reasons: First, it helps connect donors to great Gospel-based boots-on-the-ground ministries in the Madison Area. Second, it provides financial and other resources to enable those ministries to thrive and succeed. Finally, it enables donors to be good stewards by maximizing their gifts in a tax-efficient manner. As a professional advisor, I appreciate the tax efficiency because it enables people to give to their fullest by ensuring the most cents on the dollar go directly to ministry. And as a Christian, I am thrilled to see all the great work God is doing through the ministries in the Madison Area and the MCGF!
